  1. Should serve for holistic development of the students
  2. Must act like a role model influencing every facet of the student’s growth and developing their innate potentials, in addition to being a motivator, guide and friend.
  3. Must attend the morning assembly daily on time.
  4. Must address the students on moral principles, social and environment issues.
  5. Must follow the conduct rules of teachers.
  6. Must maintain the Teacher’s Diary regularly and need to submit it on the last day of the month.
  7. Must fill daily work log of class.
  8. Must reach the class on time for teaching.
  9. The teacher must evaluate the students from time to time.
  10. Teachers must develop and use relevant teaching learning material or teaching aid. 
  11. Teacher must prepare lesson before the delivery of the lesson with best pedagogy practices by combination of different methods and techniques of teaching.
  12. Must interact with the students to induce curiosity, motivate, and provoke thinking, imagination and application of the concept taught.
  13. Give activity/application- based work/assignment beyond the book, with guidance to use various resources and keep a record of the work given.
  14. Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the classroom with the help of concerned stakeholders.
  15. must have regular meetings with parents in addition to scheduled parent teacher meetings to keep them informed and guide them about the progress of their ward/wards.
  16. Subject teachers must discuss among themselves, prepare a schedule and distribute the homework as per the schedule to avoid over burdening of the students.
  17. Should not leave the assembly or the class unattended at any cost
  18. Should not stand in groups and gossip during the assembly
  19. Should not use only  ‘telling’ method, without any discussion or interaction
  20. Should not humiliate a child or resort to corporal punishment
  21. Setting examination papers, co-ordinating marking schemes and moderating examinations and assessment processes
