 Duties & Responsibilities of HOD

  1. Teachers who are also faculty in-charges will conduct regular meetings on every fourth Saturday to discuss the methods to improve the performance of students in the subject.
  2. Keeping of minutes of meetings hold.
  3. Performing the duties of Teacher (see Duties & Responsibilities of Teacher) and Head a Department for a particular subject or group of subjects.
  4. Actively assisting the Co-coordinators of School in ensuring the good professional practice, standards, and quality of teaching and learning of subject/s through proper dialogue with the class teachers and, under the direction of the other stakeholders.
  5. Should promotes a healthy process of creating collaborative, cooperative, caring and compassionate teaching learning process.
  6. Advising and contributing to curriculum development at school level under the direction and guidance of the Principal, coordinators.
  7. Co-ordinating the teaching and learning of the subject/s for which one is responsible
  8. Coordinating teachers for setting examination papers, co-ordinating marking schemes and moderating examinations and assessment process.
